Winter catered alpine chalets 2010/2011

Welcome to our Winter 2010/2011 catered alpine chalet holiday skiing programme here in Les Gets.

We are continuing with the Sunday changeover as most guests prefered it also  flights are usually cheaper on sundays and are less likely to be delayed the airports are quieter too and most importantly the pistes are quiet on saturdays for a great last day of skiing . Dont worry about ski schools as they start on mondays too !

We are offering you the opportunity to individualise your holidays. We offer the very best in fully catered holidays from our lovely ensuite Chalet Bluebell. Aimed at action, adrenaline seeking skiers and snowboarders or  families seeking fun and an easy family holiday or absolutely anyone wanting to visit the Alps at their best !

This winter we have off piste guided days with a high mountain guide available for those seeking extra adventure .So please enquire.

The Les Gets nursery area is ideal for first timers with easy progression via the Chavannes chairlift opening up a good variety of beautifully groomed tree lined green and blue runs where beginners can practice what they have learnt before they discover more of the Morzine and Les Gets ski area. les gets gained the "Family plus mountain "award which guarantees a welcoming environment for children with areas and facilities accomodating even the youngest skiers, in The Grand Cry territory its a great place for young skiers to enjoy games and skiing amongst trappers, and inidans !

Both sides of the mountain give access to good intermediate skiing and for the advanced skiers the extensive domain of the Portes du Soleil will appeal. Having skied all sides of the mountains in Les Gets, you will soon get to know the runs into Morzine ,and across to Avoriaz and down into Switzerland. Maybe even try the famous Swiss Wall!! Not forgetting the Linga and Chatel area.

After a hard days skiing you can relax in the lounge with its roaring log fire or partake in some apres ski drinks and a gameof pool or babyfootball in the Cabin Bar games room down stairs. Teenagers and children are well catered for with the games, video , dvd and playstation 2.
 
As well as the skiing, food is also very important to us, so our kitchen is top of the range, connecting with the open plan dining room where our fully qualified chef prepares mouth watering meals for hungry skiers.
