Who are we? Heres a bit about ourselves!

Jane is a farmers daughter from Yorkshire, a qualified Intensive Care nurse and ex surgical ward sister for 25 years she moved out to France 17 years ago for one winter and never went back! She pops back to the uk every year to do a month or so of nursing to maintain her registration and also remind herself what a lovely life she has in Les Gets! She runs the Bluebell with help from her staff who are always mature competent professional staff.

A competent horsewoman for many years led her to try skiing in her 20,s and she loved it. Now a very competent skier , as good on piste as off piste she has climbed Mont Blanc twice , skied down the North Face of it , done the Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt on skis and when shes not showing her guests around the pistes and Portes du Soleil can often be seen skinning up a mountain to keep fit. Summer time she is either cycling, swimming or running or waterskiing and she does some competitive triathlons , she lives life to the full!

Robert was a builders merchant for many years in Cornwall , he reached 40 and decided to change his  direction in life!  He loved skiing and was a keen holiday maker  to Morzine and The Portes du Soliel, so when he decided to take a chalet for one winter it was to Les Gets we ended up. 17 years later we are still here! Roberts a very good strong skier, has done The Haute Route twice ,cycled the Route de Grandes alps to Nice and climbed Mont Blanc all on the wrong side of 50!

An accident skiing 12 years ago, breaking his pelvis , led him to set up an airport transfer business and Ski Transfers.com was born , he heads that up but is still very much part of the chalet and  he loves taking the guests out skiing and for a beer and apres ski after at the end of the day .

Ski Blue Ridge was born 17 years ago and we still have guests coming back from our very first year , however the children that were then throwing their cocpops around the dining room are now challenging us on the snow !!!

Its a great life we wouldnt change it!!!
